Jira Integration Overview

minware can integrate with Jira as a source of ticket data.

Integration Methods

Jira Application (cloud)

The preferred method of integrating with Jira cloud is using the minware marketplace application. To install the Jira application in your Jira organization, please visit Settings > Integrations in minware and click on the "Jira" button under ticket sources, then follow the instructions listed there under "Install using the Minware Data Ingest app." You will need administrative permissions to install the application.

Personal Access Token (cloud)

You can also integrate with Jira cloud using a personal access token. To integrate using this method, please visit Settings > Integrations in minware and click on the "Jira" button under ticket sources, then follow the instructions listed there under "Install using API token." You do not need administrative permissions to integrate with Jira this way, but access to tickets will be limited based on your personal access credentials.

Enterprise On-Premise

To configure an on-premise Jira Enterprise instance, visit Settings > Integrations in minware, click on the "Jira" button under ticket sources, and follow the on-screen instructions.
